help save the great barrier reef!

The issue

THE GREAT BARRIER REEF

By signing this petition, you will be helping with our campaign to save the great barrier reef!

This is an important issue as it deeply affects the sea ecosystem in Queensland and for the whole world as problems like dredging, quarrying, destructive fish practises boat anchors and groundings, recreational misuse (touching or removing corals) and Carbon pollution which is warming up the seas.

The disappearance of the corals in the great barrier reef could lead to mass destruction. Many marine animals will vanish and suffer because of the consequences...

Not only that, many people will lose their jobs because of the lack of tourism. The beautiful and colourful corals will slowly become white and brittle - leaving kilometres of dead corals.

There are many ways we can avoid this issue and here are some solutions:

  • minimise the use of fertilisers
  • minimise using transport
  • save energy at home (turning off not needed lights, laptops, TVs...)
  • don't pollute - help recycle, reuse and reduce

These steps are so simple that we can achieve these solutions throughout our everyday life!

Help and join us to begin our journey to recover the corals!
