Ensure Work Pays - time to prioritise the workers !

Thank you for supporting my petition - now over 500 signatories !
I was hoping for a million, but hey ho there's still time !
I started it because I really worry about how successive governments just don't seem to care about those who get up every day, rain or shine, and work at ordinary jobs; often not very well paid, sometimes a bit tedious, but jobs that keep this country going. It's well past time that they become the priority in decision-making, instead of being taken for granted. Without them, society crumbles - but time and again they are sent the message that what they do isn't valued. It has to change or increasingly people will think, why bother ?
Restoring pride in work for your family, community and country has to once again be at the forefront of government thinking. Politicians make the right noises, but their actions as taxes rise and welfare spending balloons betray their promises as empty words.
I've never done this sort of thing before, but with my best years well behind me, I really worry for the inheritance we are passing on to future generations. I've even - at the tender age of 70 - dipped my toe in the dangerous waters of social media to try to publicise the petition; facebook, X and AI generated images - it's a whole new frightening world for me. Aren't people rude at times ?!
Anyway, the purpose of the contact is to say thank you for the support - and, if there is anything you can do to share the petition (I'm sure there are many of you way more social media savvy than me; it wouldn't be hard !), please help.
