Announcing a new group advocating for women’s justice and safety.

The 51 percent will focus on political action to achieve better outcomes for women and gender diverse people.  Currently we are a marginalised majority, and it’s time for change.  

We will be writing open letters, starting and delivering petitions, rallying, occupying, writing articles and making submissions to regulatory bodies.  We need numbers and passion and we want you to join us. 
Our current actions include:

- An open letter to the Hon Gladys Berijeklian, Premier of NSW requesting an investigation into NSW police handling of the rape allegations against Christian Porter

- A submission to the Australian medical regulatory body, AHPRA detailing the need for recurring workshops into women’s health and safety including DV awareness, trauma informed care, understanding of physiological difference that is not reflected in drug and medical research and avoiding harassment and discrimination in attitudes to pain and symptoms.
