This case once again highlights how the culprits of poor practice are rarely the ones held under the spotlight and often the whistleblower is the one that suffers by being dragged through lengthy investigations.
Is it that ultimately our regulator does not believe their own registrants ( nurses and midwives ) who pay their fees to not be believed. At some point there needs to be investigation in complete neutrality otherwise culture will continue to be toxic, patients will suffer and we will lose vast experience from the profession
