Hi everyone,

Today might be my second last day with Rocco, if the Stay Order (asking that Rocco stay with me while an appeal is going) is not granted tomorrow.

All I know is I love Rocco and Rocco loves me. We are each other’s world. What Rocco knows is me as his mom. What I know is him as my son. No words can explain our bond, so I won’t even try.

All this time I’ve been strong for him. I’m crying as I type this and he’s on top of me trying to comfort me. He gets stressed when I’m stressed so I try not to show it.

The amount of support we have received from the public is beyond what I could’ve hoped for.

I never imagined a dog ownership case to get to the level that it’s gotten to:

The record was voluminous with over 2100 pages. Opposing party served us with 12 witness affidavits and I responded with 13 witness affidavits. Then I received opposing party’s reply. Every single one of my witnesses was cross-examined. It’s been a very tough case for me to fight, as my opponents are very wealthy and I have limited resources as a public school teacher.
