My eyes often well up with tears as I click through the sad and upsetting videos of animals being mistreated. Animals, that should instead be in safe and caring  homes, are in the hands of  individuals who should never be aloud to care for one  . This is a sight that is too common and silently shared by many of us here in Perth . We are watching animals get hurt inmpeoples own backyards , and it's time to bring about change for the animals  amongst us.

Our community  treats everyone with  love but they dont do the same for the animals . across Western Australia, the RSPCA received more than 20,000 reports of animal cruelty in the past year alone. that means when you add it up  there is  about  380 calls every week or even 50 calls every single day. These numbers tell us that the  situation  is out of control and really needs to be addressed.

We need better laws and stricter rules to make sure people who aren't good with animals don't get to own them. i suggest having better checks, tougher laws against hurting animals, and making sure those laws are actually followed .

Let’s make sure every pet in Perth gets a loving home where they’re cared for and treated right. Will you join this fight for a higher standard of animal welfare in Western Australia?
