Ashten Goeckel was caught on camera, on the balcony of her Duluth, GA apartment hitting her dog with a shoe before she viciously picked it up and swinging it by its neck against a wall repeatedly. Police were called and she confessed to the entire thing. She was arrested on a MISDEMEANOR animal cruelty charge and released on a measly $1,300 bond hours later. This is a despicable act committed that needs and deserves the FELONY charge of animal cruelty! Do not let her class level or social standing excuse her heinous crime.
