Wednesday the 26th of November our march to the SAPS Provincial head office was approved.
We will be standing against law enforcement agencies lack of care, urgency and fairness when handling cases. The law cannot continue to treat victims/survivors so shamefully while seeming to protect perpetrators. If our fight against GBV is going to succeed law enforcement agencies need to amend their procedures so they protect victims/survivors. Detectives need to be held accountable when they fail to protect and serve and stricter measures should be put in place to ensure that cases are handled appropriately.
3rd of December 9am Peter ross park in parktown Johannesburg we will be gathering to address this. Come one, come all.
Justice can not keep failing the people of South Africa.
