My name is Annabelle, and I, along with many of my classmates, find ourselves in a predicament that jeopardizes our hard work and academic integrity. We were students in Ms. Adana's health class, eagerly working towards our educational goals. However, after Ms. Adana went on leave, the substitute teacher came, and the grading system during this period is dishearteningly flawed.

I had a 4.0 GPA in Ms. Adana's class, a testament to my diligence and commitment. Yet, under his supervision, I received a C. I triple-checked every assignment, ensuring all requirements were met accurately and completely, and still, I was awarded only half credit for the portfolio. This is not an isolated incident but a pattern affecting many of my peers. Final exam grades seemed arbitrarily low, compounded by inaccessible study material. This unfair grading not only impacts our academic records but also affects our morale and motivation.

To address these issues, we need the school's administration to review and amend the grades issued during the substitute's time as our teacher. The grades should truly reflect each student's effort, performance, and understanding of the material, not be a result of oversight or inadequate communication of assignments and expectations.
