In the heart of Greenbank, families gather each day to drop off and pick up their children from Guardian Childcare & Education Centre. Located near Pub Lane, this center is a nurturing space where dedicated staff focus on the learning, growth, and well-being of our children. However, with increasing traffic and a high speed limit of 70 km/h along Pub Lane, concerns are growing among parents, staff, and local residents. Just a few meters from the daycare, vehicles travel at speeds that create a serious safety risk.

Every day, parents worry as vehicles speed down this road, situated only steps away from where their children play and learn. The combination of high traffic volume and the current speed limit poses a potential danger, where even a momentary error by a driver could have devastating consequences. This situation puts not only the children but also the staff and families at risk. A guardrail along Pub Lane would act as a vital protective barrier, shielding everyone at the daycare from vehicles that may lose control due to speeding, driver distraction, or adverse weather conditions.
