The issue

We are petitioning for the Andrew Nolan to serve the maximum of his sentence and not be considered for early release. Andrew, a child basher catastrophically abused 7 month old Bobby Webber leaving him with a profound traumatic brain injury, resulting in dystonic spastic quadriplegia who also endures epilepsy and is vision impaired.

Andrew, will be eligible for parole only having served the minimum of his sentence for the catastrophic abuse of Bobby.  We are petitioning Australia to sign this petition to ensure that Andrew serves the rest of his sentence with the hope that he is not released until Australia has a serious offenders register.

Serious offenders review council known as (SORC) is an independent statutory authority in NSW who advises state parole authority on the security classification, placement, and case management of inmates considered serious offenders.

These predators deserve to be named to ensure that we are keeping Australian citizens safe from serious offenders like Andrew Nolan. Whilst there may be a parole period for some time, what does life look for Andrew when there is none? Is he able to start a family and be around vulnerable children, is he able to start dating unsuspecting women who have children? I shudder to think the serious offenders who have served time but haven't been held sufficiently accountable.

Here is a little bit about Bobby's story if you are not familiar.

In September 2014, a little 7 month old baby boy was beaten to near death in his home on the Central Coast, NSW whilst in the care of his non-biological Uncle, Andrew Nolan.

Bobby endured multiple skull fractures caused by blunt force trauma, blood pooling in his eyes from being violently shaken, carpet burn marks on his forehead, fractured vertebrae, shattered ankles, bruised genitalia, bite marks on his little body amongst other atrocities too graphic to disclose.

Bobby’s injuries left him completely brain damaged and requiring round the clock care. A few days after that fateful night, his parents made the heartbreaking decision to switch off his life support following the advice of his team of Doctor's.

Against all odds, Bobby did not give up the fight once life support was switched off and miraculously continued breathing. Bobby spent the next two months in hospital suffering multiple seizures per day and being fed by a tube, but continued to make steady progress with small reactive responses despite his extensive injuries.

In October 2014, Bobby's non-biological Uncle, was arrested and charged with Grievous Bodily Harm with Intent and denied bail. On Bobby's 2nd birthday in February 2016 Andrew Nolan pleaded guilty.

Our call to action is, petition to have

Andrew serve the top of his sentence

A serious offenders register

Greater support for victims. A victim should not have to reach out to victims registered to be told where the offender is, or the security classification or their parole date. It should be information that is available to all victims, should they choose to read it. Victims register should not be a buy in option, it should be a right of the victim.
