I started the petition when I was incarcerated at the Lee arrendale State prison at Alto Georgia I was convicted of a crime I wasn't even present. All of my co-defendants were let free while I served a 20 to 13 I was released after 10 years the department of corrections has labeled me a sex offender where I was convicted of trafficking a person for sexual servitude once again I was nowhere near the scene of the crime I only let a friend of mine use my car no one else was in prison but me while incarcerated I learned before I was released that I had to register as a sex offender. Why?, I haven't sexually offended anyone they later explain due to my charges that it was a sexual offense after going to the law library and carefully researching my charges trafficking a person for sexual servitude ocga 42-1-12 charge did not become a registerable offense untill after I was convicted this charge also is not retroactive after contacting the DeKalb county Superior courts, they explain to me that they are not the ones that label me that the department of correction has labeled me. I sent all information to the department of corrections explaining to them that I am not a sex offender. They disregard  any of the valid information and refuse to remove the label I am now out and having the hardest time trying to survive live and take care of my 15 year old daughter due to the negligence of the department of correction not researching and unlabeling me before my release. Can someone please help me I am in need of legal assistance so that I can sue the department of corrections. Once again I am pursuing a lawsuit against the department of corrections and is in need of help. This decision that the department of correction has placed on me has impacted my life so bad that I can't hold a job I can't take care of my daughter and I can't take care of myself this is a big deal a lot of people and women are labeled as sex offenders do to the negligence of people just nit researching and just overriding what a judge has already sentenced me to do this is double jeopardy and a violation of my constitution rights please contact me at 404-447-7368 for legal assistance
