Thank you for providing an opportunity to respond to the petition regarding pedestrian and bicycle safety on School Road.

The City of Peculiar recognizes the concerns raised by residents and is already in discussions with the parties involved, including the Raymore-Peculiar School District, regarding this important project. Because any improvements will require thoughtful planning and coordination, these conversations are an important step toward identifying practical and effective safety solutions.

I appreciate seeing citizens become involved, express their concerns, and make their voices heard. Public participation helps city leaders better understand the needs of our growing community. I will continue to support open communication and work with the appropriate parties as these discussions move forward.
