It’s time for us to call on the Government to recognise St George's Day  as a national bank holiday.

To proudly celebrate England’s own St George’s Cross as symbols of unity, history, and shared identity.

Too many people feel disconnected from what it means to be English....And our traditions, our identity, and our national day are often overlooked or misunderstood. 

No matter what anyone tries to tell you, St George’s Day with its flag is a moment for everyone in England to come together—families, communities, and neighbours—to celebrate our shared history and culture with pride.

This isn’t about division..

It’s about unity, belonging, and giving people a positive way to celebrate England. The way other countries celebrate theirs.

We believe it is both reasonable and timely to give England’s national day the official recognition it deserves.

Other countries proudly mark their national days—why shouldn’t we?

Past petitions for St George's Day have fallen short—but with enough support, this can be the one that succeeds.

St George’s Day already exists, but what’s missing is the recognition of our beautiful Country and flag.

It's simple. It’s fair and it’s overdue.
