Jun 11, 2017 — Update: 161 Likes up to now - You are wonderful! In the meantime RescátaMe has confirmed that the Grand Bahia Principe has contacted them. The date depends also on RescátaMe - 3 tough women doing it all! We are trying to arrange support in terms of manpower.We have some more news that are not so good: A tourist who just stayed at the Royalton has told us that there are a lot of unspayed animals again and apparently also at other hotels listed in our hotel guide <a href="http://www.kreolischerhund.de/Hotels.en.php">http://www.kreolischerhund.de/Hotels.en.php</a> - RescátaMe doesn't have the capacities to maintain a spay & neuter program for the hotels and the hotels won't do it on their own. We have therefore taken all the big All-Inclusives of Punta Cana off our hotel guide for the time being. We are trying to develp an annual spay & neuter program for hotels only. And there is something else yet: We will reopen our petition! It will be re-designed: All animal abuse happening at hotels and in tourist centers are definitely offenses against the Dominican animal welfare law 248-12! Therefore we will cooperate more closely with the Dominican animal rights organization SODOPRECA that has created this law anf brought it underway and has been fighting since for its enforcement. Also the petition of Alexandra Morillo Velastegui has this goal and our petition will reopen in a revised version with similar contents and will be sent to the same address - the president of the Dominican Republic!
