February, at the peak of the country’s COVID-19 outbreak, many owners abandoned their pets after rumors spread of animal-to-human transmission. And even though the National People’s Congressbanned eating wildlife later that month, wild animals continue to be exploited as entertainment, pets, and ingredients for traditional medicine.

China’s lack of a law against mistreating animals makes these problems harder to address.

it pains me everyday seeing what animals in China and around the world go through on a daily basis these animals deserve a life , with people that will love them , care for them and cherish them. PLEASE PLEASE!!! have a heart , and stop this cruelty STOP ANIMAL ABUSE. Enforce animal protection laws in China and across the world.
