This petition aims to shed light on a cruel act committed against a defenseless camel by a local landlord in Pakistan. The horrific act involved the mutilation of the camel by cutting off its leg, representing a blatant disregard for both the teachings of Islam and the laws of Pakistan. According to Shariah and Pakistani laws, such act is considered a heinous crime. In Islam, a religion that advocates respect and kindness towards all living beings, the Holy Quran emphasizes penalties against such cruel acts. Furthermore, our beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W., has taught us to treat animals with gentleness.

Unfortunately, instances like these are all too common, betraying a need for stronger enforcement of laws against animal cruelty. Though the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act was established in Pakistan in 1890, it's clear that existing legislation is insufficient or under-enforced. Such animal torment persists, indicating an urgent need to address this issue within our legal system and culture.

In this particular case, we beseech the government of Pakistan to take decisive action against the intolerable act committed by this individual. By doing so, it would serve as a stark reminder that cruelty against animals will not be excused and perpetrators will be punished.
