When I watched this installment of Hive Live, I, and I'm sure many others, felt mocked by the way students were portrayed as the villains, as the bad guys, over cell phone use.

When I started this petition, it was never about addiction or distraction, it was never about students being disengaged due to technology. It was about safety, security, privacy, and everything else  that matters in a school  environment. The way it's seen, the Branford Board Of Education has zero regard for people's safety. Branford High used this “Movie” to show the “Big” issue of cell phone use in school. This goes to show that the Board Of Education overlooked the idea that Yondr pouches add many more steps to taking action in an emergency, and continue to do nothing about it.  When a possibly Life Altering event happens, people want every second they can get. Yondr compromises our safety, security, privacy, and well-being. In the end, It's not about addiction, it's about the well being of students, which the Branford Board Of Education has completely disregarded despite peoples concerns.
