The audio clip played before films in Vue cinemas that sounds like Idris Elba - shaming you for using your phone, is utterly awful and must be stopped.

It feels like they turn the volume up to nerve shredding levels - higher than in the trailers or actual film - just to berate you in the dark for an extended period before your film.

It’s deeply unfunny and boorish, after which you are left aggravated, ruining the intro of the film you came to watch. Can’t the cinema chain just treat the customer with courtesy instead of punishing them with this patronising ordeal?

The creators of the film have made an experience to transport you and suspend your disbelief.. this exercise in shaming the Vue customers just ruins that experience.

Bin it. And treat your customers with some decency and respect!
