I, like many others, have experienced the frustration and inconvenience caused by administrators blocking websites. Blocked websites stink. They hinder our access to information and limit our freedom on the internet. This is not just a personal grievance but a widespread issue affecting millions worldwide.

According to Freedom House's 2020 report, internet freedom has declined for the tenth consecutive year with more than two-thirds of all internet users residing in countries where criticism of the government, military or ruling family is subject to censorship. This alarming trend highlights how crucial it is for us to take action now.

Administrators should be held accountable for their actions and should not have arbitrary power over what content we can or cannot access online. We demand transparency in their decision-making process and a fair system that respects our rights as internet users.
