We, as a community, are tired of the overpowering, frequent smell emanating from the Fisher Road Recycling facility. Our quality of life is being greatly affected, many community members complaining of not being able to open windows, or enjoy time outside. There is also great concern surrounding the possible health impacts of the VOC’s present in the air, as well as run-off contaminants entering the local aquifer. Considering how close the facility is to nearby parks, schools, and residences, there needs to be significant change and/or relocation of the facility.
