End the Hate: Stop Promoting Bullying and Violence against Black Men and Black Boys

The Issue

We, concerned individuals from all walks of life, come together to address a pressing issue that has been plaguing our society. We are deeply disturbed by the rise of an alarming social media movement called the "DIVESTOR MOVEMENT" that promotes bullying, harassment, defamation, name-calling, and even the death of BLACK MEN, BLACK BOYS and BLACK MALE BABIES. This movement not only perpetuates hate but also undermines efforts towards equality and justice for all.

It is crucial to recognize that every human being deserves respect regardless of their race or ethnicity. The anti-Black Men social media movement directly opposes this fundamental principle by targeting BLACK MEN specifically. This targeted harassment not only affects individuals but also perpetuates harmful stereotypes that have long plagued our society.

Statistics consistently show a disproportionate amount of negative attention directed towards BLACK MEN on various social media platforms. According to research conducted by Pew Research Center in 2020, African Americans experience higher rates of online harassment compared to other racial or ethnic groups.

Furthermore, a study published in the Journal of Social Issues revealed that online hate speech disproportionately targets marginalized communities such as BLACK MEN. The study found that these hateful messages often lead to real-world consequences such as increased anxiety levels and decreased self-esteem among victims.

The consequences extend beyond individual well-being; they impact entire communities as well. When influential figures promote or engage in this type of behavior on social media platforms with large followings, it normalizes hatred towards black men and boys within society at large.

We believe it is essential for social media platforms to take immediate action against accounts promoting bullying, harassment, defamation, name-calling, or advocating violence against any group based on their race or ethnicity—specifically targeting anti-Black Men content.

We urge these platforms to strengthen their community guidelines regarding hate speech while enforcing stricter penalties for those who violate them repeatedly. Additionally, we call upon social media companies to invest in proactive measures, such as artificial intelligence algorithms, to identify and remove harmful content before it reaches a wider audience.

By signing this petition, we demand that social media platforms take responsibility for fostering a safe and inclusive online environment. We call on them to actively combat the anti-Black Men movement by swiftly removing accounts promoting hate speech and violence against BLACK MEN and BLACK BOYS.

Together, let us stand against discrimination, hatred, and violence. Let us work towards creating an online space where every individual is treated with dignity and respect regardless of their race or ethnicity. Sign this petition today to make our voices heard!
