This beautiful cat was murdered recently in our Apartment. We have witnessed an alarming rise in cruelty, killing, and torture of community animals in our residential tower, the H block in Alpine Eco Apartment, Bangalore, Karnataka. Innocent cats, who mean no harm, are being killed without reason. Out of the almost 8 cases reported in the last 6 months, one cat was rescued, but the cruelty persists. The feeders are being harassed and intimidated. 

To justify fines, on feeders, (although it's completely illegal in india under the animal protection laws) worthless feeding points have been created which are completely non functional at few points. They have not provided any provisions or measures for the safety and security of these beautiful beings, leaving these animals vulnerable to further harm. 

Community cats are a part of our ecosystem, playing a significant role in controlling rodent populations. They deserve respect, care, and protection, not brutality and death. It is imperative that our residential association and local authorities step forward to take immediate action. Implementing CCTV surveillance,  organizing community education sessions on animal rights, and establishing strict penalties for those causing harm to animals are a few measures that can greatly improve the conditions. There are only a handful of individuals engaged in these cruel acts. I wish to report their action to their work places so that their employers know what kind of people they have hired. 

Earlier the kids in the tower used to love and play with cats, feed them and care for them, but with lies and unnecessary hate information, the children have now been brainwashed and they have started hating the beautiful beings.
