For far too long, ACCT Philly has been murdering healthy animals in its care on the lackluster basis of "Needing more space"  Their actions had left poor dogs and cats to be killed before they can find a forever home. They are friendly and adoptable, but they are still losing their lives due to ACCT Philly's actions. These are pets with names, personalities, and potential. Their lives matter.

Not only surrendered pets are effected. Lost pets was also euthanized before their families was located.  ACCT Philly has continuously repeated their script by claiming "Needing more space"  as a twisted justification for their actions. Just for the death toll of innocent adoptable animals to rise. 

The amount of animals killed in ACCT Philly's care is so astronomically alarming to the point where people outside of ACCT Philly has desperately spreading the word online about timestamped animals to desperately get them adopted before ACCT Philly euthanizes them.  ACCT Philly is aware of this and continues to manufacture crises with them continuously threating to euthanizing other animals in their care with the  same twisted justification of "Lack of space" and "Length of stay"  These pets lives matter. 

This petition calls for ACCT Philly's slaughter of innocent animals to come to an end by shutting down ACCT Philly entirely and replacing it with a non-kill shelter.  These animals never asked to be born and they do not deserve to die. 

The goal of this petition is to be the voice of the voiceless and call on our representatives to hold ACCT Philly accountable and to finally end the slaughter by shutting down their inhumane shelter in order to ensure they can never harm any innocent healthy pets again.

This petition looks to achieve the following:

1. Shutdown ACCT Philly 
2. Hold ACCT Philly Caregivers accountable 
3. Replace ACCT Philly with a non-kill shelter
4. Require shelters to care for healthy animals and to not euthanize healthy animals regardless of 'needing more space' or 'length of stay'
5. Require Shelters to show their work with Transparency of Animal Care and efforts of rehoming. 

Their lives matter. It is time we the people to stand up and speak out. We need to be the voice for the voiceless. If we stay silent, this vicious cycle will continue. They deserve to be with a forever home. The sooner we all act to protect these animals is the better.

This petition was made in honor of Salisbury, a Siberian Husky that was in ACCT Philly's care where he was euthanized.  Salisbury was one of many animals in ACCT Philly's Shelter that was killed for 'Lack of Space'. Only one hour after Salisbury was euthanized he would of had a loving home.
