Good news from the Utah Legislature today. This afternoon, the Utah House passed Rep. John Knotwell's HB 141 by a vote of 61 to 4 - sending the bill to the Utah Senate and moving the state one step closer to lifting the ban on Zenefits. Thanks to you, Utah's leaders have heard from more than 1,900 people who believe that Utah should embrace technology and innovation - and that state regulators shouldn't try to protect incumbent industries from competition. This process isn't over yet - but with the support of Governor Herbert, other leaders in Utah, and everyone who signed this petition, we're hopeful that the full legislature will pass this bill and allow small businesses in Utah to once again manage their HR and health insurance online through Zenefits.
