There are a number of Republican senators, in addition to the Democrats, who have voiced objections to President-elect Donald Trump's cabinet picks and his desire to use recess appointments to get them in place in a timely manner.  If these senators succeed in preventing Trump's cabinet nominees from being confirmed, or they create a significant delay in the confirmation process, it will negatively impact his ability to successfully implement his plans and policies.  Plans and policies that we the people voted for when we chose Trump to be our 47th President.  Those of us who support President Trump must raise our voices in protest of these obstructions.  We want ALL of Trump's cabinet nominees to be confirmed so his administration can begin implementing his plans and policies immediately upon his return to the White House!

THE PETITION:

On November 5th, 2024, a historical day for many Americans, we cast our votes for Donald J. Trump.  We believed in his ability to implement the visions, policies and plans he voiced for our country.  Like a ripple that becomes a wave, our one act of choosing him as president set into motion his wider mission to shape and mold the nation's future.  However, we now find that mission under threat by the Senate.

The Senate's attempts to hinder President-Elect Donald Trump's cabinet appointments is not just a threat to Trump, but an affront to the Constitution and the will expressed by American citizens.  The democratic process enables a president-elect to choose his own cabinet members—a right inherent in our system of governance.

Any hindrance in the confirmation of Trump's cabinet appointments is not just a bureaucratic hurdle but instead acts as a significant roadblock in the path of his successful policy implementation.  We must not forget that the cabinet plays a crucial role in formulating and executing national policies. 

We call for an end to these political power plays and instead ask our representatives in the Senate to respect our choice, the Constitution, and the democratic ideals upon which our great nation was built.  Sign this petition to take a stand against the Senate's obstruction of President-Elect Donald Trump's cabinet appointments.  Let's uphold the democratic process and the will of the American people!
