To start, Rodenticide Poisons are not specifically only for rodents. There is no poison that will only kill One specific target, and not ripple up the food chain.

Rodenticide Poisons kill: Eagles, Hawks, Owls, Condors, Vultures, Cats, Dogs, Foxes, Coyotes, Opossums, Racoons, Bobcats, Fishers, Mink, Ermine... The list goes on. If it eats rodents and sees an easy meal it will go for it. Not knowing it will be it's last.

We have had three cats who directly died from Rodenticide poisoning. Caused by neighbors who placed Warfarin (Rodenticide) to remove a few mice or squirrels from the house or property.

Massachusetts needs to follow in California's footsteps and ban the Sale and Use of Rodenticides in the state, permanently. And make it illegal to bring it into the State!

CT is working on banning it as well, I just signed a sister petition from a bird of prey rehabilitation and rescue who has seen an influx of raptors with Rodenticide Poisoning.
