When Riot Vanguard was introduced as an anti-cheat system for League of Legends and other games by Riot Games, it was meant to enhance fair play and protect the gaming experience. However, instead of solving problems, it has created a multitude of new challenges for players. Personally, I have seen passionate gamers, including many of my friends, decide to stop playing because of the intrusive nature of Riot Vanguard. Unfortunately, I am also considering quitting due to these issues.

Riot Vanguard, instead of acting as a safeguard, has been more detrimental than beneficial. Players are constantly facing compatibility issues with their devices, disruptive errors during gameplay, performance declines, bizarre bugs, and an alarming level of system invasiveness. This system seems to hinder regular players far more than it prevents cheating, impacting those who simply want to enjoy their gaming time.

League of Legends, along with other games from Riot Games, holds a special place in the hearts of many gamers globally. It’s disheartening to see a game that is not only about competition but also community and camaraderie, be tarnished by a system that was intended to enhance the experience but instead diminishes it. It becomes exceedingly frustrating to witness an important and beloved platform suffering because of Riot Vanguard.

The solution is clear: Riot Games must end the implementation of Riot Vanguard and opt for a new accessible and non-intrusive method of combating cheating. A system that respects players' devices, ensures a smooth gaming experience, and does not deter the very community it wishes to protect.
