The Issue
Stop Unfair & Predatory Towing at Cool Springs Apartments (Frisco, TX)
We, the residents and guests of Cool Springs Apartments in Frisco, TX, are fed up and heartbroken over the unfair, predatory towing practices enforced by Spartan Wrecker under our current parking policies.
These policies and the partnership with Spartan Wrecker are not protecting residents. They are punishing us.
What’s happening to us
Residents’ and guests’ cars are being towed aggressively, often costing over $300 to get them back.
Guests are forced to register every 24 hours even if they’re staying for an entire weekend, which is completely unrealistic with normal work, family life, or emergencies.
Spartan Wrecker’s supposed 24-hour contact number frequently doesn’t answer. Residents are left calling endlessly or having to find the tow yard themselves.
Cool Springs Apartments management often closes the leasing office early, outside of their posted business hours on Google, making it impossible to fix parking issues or update guest passes in time.
Spartan Wrecker has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau and is not accredited.

Create longer guest registration options such as 48 hours, 72 hours, or weekend passes so residents don’t have to register every single day.
Require the towing company to keep a truly working 24-hour contact number.
Keep the leasing office open during the posted business hours so residents can fix parking or guest pass issues in time.
Communicate parking rules and towing policies clearly and fairly to all residents.
This system isn’t working. It punishes honest residents, scares away our guests, and creates fear and stress in our own homes.
We stand together to demand a towing policy that is fair, humane, and respectful of the people who actually live here.
