End Littering in Australia

The issue

Littering/pollution is a big problem across Australia. It can cause major damage to streets, rivers, ponds, lakes, oceans, sewers, etc. This affects wildlife in these areas making the area unusable due to all the pollution. By signing this petition you are making a big change. By signing this petition you agree that the government should increase the number of bins so that there are more places for people to dispose of their rubbish instead of them being lazy and leaving their rubbish on the ground. You agree that the government should increase community services given out to criminals. In addition to jail time and fines, there should be more community services where criminals pick up rubbish. You agree that Schools should also have more community service punishments as well. You agree that there should also be volunteers to pick up rubbish.

If we don't take action now the whole ecosystem will fall due to the mass pollution rates. Many people litter and don’t think of the outcome. But what happens is that the litter is going to end up in the drain and eventually the litter is going to be in oceans. Many sea creatures will see rubbish and try and eat this. But the rubbish ends up killing these poor creatures. And soon this will lead to extinction. By signing this petition you are helping this petition grow larger so the government will see this issue and our voices will be heard. Littering laws should be enforced because the people that litter don't realize the massive consequences that can lead to. Littering hurts many creatures' habitats leading to habitat loss. These poor creatures need to be looked at and helped because they are a special part of our ecosystem.

The City Of Casey and The Victorian Government should see this and this petition is made to help that happen. The governments should enforce laws on littering so that the environment won't be polluted.
