For 8 months, the brutal Israeli assault on Gaza has unfolded, killing over 37,000 people with countless more unaccounted for.  The infrastructure of the region has been totally devastated, with virtually no access to the basics of life such as water, electricity, food and shelter.

This would not be possible without funding to buy the weapons that cause this carnage.  Lidl NI and Lidl Ireland continue to stock the following Israeli products:

Lupilu baby wipes 
Lupilu kids moist toilet tissues
Cien cleansing wipes 
Cien sensitive wipes 
Fruit and vegetables

All this despite knowing that profits from these items directly fund what has been judged to be plausible genocide by the International Court of Justice.

There is no sign of Israeli internal opposition to this slaughter; the only pressure that can potentially cause a shift must come outside the country, primarily through boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) actions that target the Israeli economy.  This was effective in the struggle against apartheid South Africa, and can work once more against apartheid Israel.
