End internet and phone shutdowns in Iran
The Issue
We, Iranians across the globe who have been forced into exile by the Islamic regime, urgently call attention to a grave and escalating crisis inside Iran—one that is being deliberately hidden from the world.
What is happening today is not civil unrest; it is a systematic campaign of violence by the regime against its own people. Civilians are being killed in the streets simply for chanting the name of King Reza Pahlavi and demanding freedom, dignity, and a future for Iran. The regime has shut down internet and phone communications nationwide to conceal its crimes and isolate the country. It has even deployed foreign mercenaries to violently suppress unarmed civilians.
Families of protesters and activists are being detained as hostages to intimidate Iranians abroad and silence those who speak out. Despite international warnings, the violence has intensified, and civilians remain unprotected and unheard.
We urge governments worldwide to take immediate and decisive action: apply diplomatic and economic pressure on the Islamic regime, demand accountability for human rights violations, and support international investigations into these atrocities.
We also call on global media to investigate and report on these events, amplify the voices of those being silenced, and ensure the world understands the severity of this crisis.
