My family Member is being abused by the officers in Cape Vincent Correctional Facility and fears for his life. I have spoken to other inmates and their families who have shared similar experiences of abuse. Long-term inmates are suffering under corrupted officers who cover up for each other, creating an environment of fear and violence. Not all inmates are guilty; some are serving time for crimes they did not commit. We need justice for these innocent individuals and must come together to stop the violence and abuse in this jail system.
