Thank you to everyone who signed this petition. As a result of your concern, the permit for horseback riding in Golden Gate Park has been revoked. The SF Standard did a series of articles detailing the many concerns voiced by members of the public and former employees:

There is also a fundraiser on behalf of some of these horses. They were adopted by a woman who worked at this outfit. She took in a small group of those in the worst condition. Her goal is to bring them back to health. I can personally testify she is working hard every day to do just that. If you have a few dollars to spare for the horses, it would be much appreciated:
