This will not affect me as much as it will affect the innocent communities affected by environmental racism. Indigenous,  low income and coloured communities are exposed to hazardous chemicals from natural resource extractions. The Takla Lake First Nations are affected by mining and abandoned mining operations. They are losing their last source of fish, meat and water. Innumerable communities have already lost their traditions lands, so help Takla. When companies place mines near these communities, they are exposed to hazardous chemicals, contaminated water and pollution. These problems can lead to other individual problems such as suicide, way of life and cultures may be lost. Acid mine drainage is when water becomes contaminated and is undrinkable, usable and generally looks orange. Help Takla save Bear Lake! Spread the word and spread this petition.
