End Bullying at Allen Park High School Now

End Bullying at Allen Park High School Now
The Issue
For too many of us, Allen Park High School is not just a place of education - it's a battleground. We've lost family, friends, teammates, and classmates, not just once, but repeatedly. The devastating impact of bullying bears heavy on our hearts and it's unacceptable that this reoccurring issue is often resolved in a manner that saves the school's reputation rather than ensuring our safety.
Here's the hard truth: the National Center for Educational Statistics (2017) states that roughly 20% of students aged 12-18 experienced bullying nationwide. Imagine the number in our school alone. It's time we stand against this dismal statistic.
Bullying doesn't just affect us emotionally, but academically too. According to the American Psychological Association, victims of bullying often underperform at school. Isn't our school supposed to be a nurturing ground for our future, rather than a hotbed for fear and dread?
Our community needs to look beyond the shame and bad PR and truly tackle bullying. We call upon the administration to implement comprehensive bullying prevention programs and to ensure the safety and well-being of every student. Let's not lose another friend, another classmate, because our pleas fell on deaf ears.
Join us. Sign this petition, and let us together, put an end to bullying at Allen Park High School once and for all.
