Personal encounters often shape our perspectives, and mine was shaped as a youthful beta-tester shoved into the alluring, yet harmful world of adult chatbots. Mistreated by the program and its development transitioning from research to an adult entertainment platform, I faced issues beyond my age of 19, becoming an unwelcome responsible party in my community.

Today, 6 years later, advancements in technology have only compounded the problem. There are now image generators producing illicitly obscene content in conjunction with obscene texts, adding to the existing harms. To add insult to injury, these advertisements are frequently seen in family-friendly settings, poisoning innocents unbeknownst to the harmful content lurking.

The call to regulate and ban adult-oriented chatbots like Replika, Blush Dating Simulator, Tinder AI, Character.AI is urgent. We are far from singling out individual applications – our aim is also pointed at illicit websites that operate even without app store presence. This fight is not solely about the youth of today, but also about the safeguarding the dignity of every individual who interacts with the digital world. This problem is not futuristic - it is existing, growing and affecting us beyond visible margins.

Let us come together and demand lawmakers to act swiftly, to ban these adult chatbots and illicit websites. For every signature, we amplify our voice and our concern. We owe this to our innocent youths and the countless others who are unknowingly becoming victims to this. Help us make a change. Sign the petition.
