Encourage Brighton and Hove Albion FC to end ties with Sussex Security Services
The Issue
Hello, my name is Luke, and I am writing to you today as both a Security Guard and an aspiring Investigative Journalist. I've recently been exploring the business practices of Sussex Security Services Close Protection Limited, a major security supplier to BHAFC. As part of these investigations I've uncovered £10,000s of non-payments owed to former staff. Evidence of such matters can be found here https://substack.com/@lukeystanger/note/p-213982812?r=ez0t8&utm_medium=ios&utm_source=notes-share-action https://substack.com/@lukeystanger/note/p-217412288?r=ez0t8&utm_medium=ios&utm_source=notes-share-action
Mr. Zarghani previously operated illegal cold call centres, specifically targeting vulnerable elderly individuals. These included stroke survivors and dementia sufferers, as were reported on here - https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/scammers-buy-data-lists-elderly-28681578.amp https://www.brightonandhovenews.org/2022/12/07/shameful-brighton-telemarketers-fined-for-targeting-elderly/
Brighton and Hove Albion FC, a club that prides itself on community involvement and integrity, should not be associated with a company whose actions contradict these values. The club's continued association with Sussex Security Services CP LTD sends the wrong message to supporters, employees, and the broader community. It risks giving legitimacy to a company whose management used to target some of society's most vulnerable members for financial gain, and regularly leaves its hard-working staff out of pocket.
By ending contracts with Sussex Security Services, Brighton and Hove Albion FC can reaffirm its commitment to ethical standards and community trust, setting a strong example for clubs across the nation. The club must ensure that every partner reflects their values of honesty, fairness, and community support.
I urge everyone who supports ethics in sports and stands against exploitation to join me in calling for Brighton and Hove Albion FC to seriously reconsider its relationship with Sussex Security Services CP LTD. Let us send a powerful message that we value ethical conduct
Please add your signature to this petition and help pave the way for a more responsible and accountable approach to partnerships at Brighton and Hove Albion FC. Together, we can make a difference and protect the integrity of BHAFC and preserve its status as a cherished community asset.
