This petition is to raise awareness for laws broken by parents who take children from home illegally to get prosecuted for their crimes.

Child Kidnapping should be an enforced law to be broken and the defendant needs to be taken to jail as any other law is broken, what is the difference?

Children should never have to feel alone with no parents to return home to, no secure place to indulge in the innocence of their youth. Currently, according to the U.S. Department of Justice, an estimated 200,000 family abductions occur each year in the United States, with many cases going unnoticed and unaddressed due to the lack of effective laws and safeguards in place. Henceforth, I urge the enactment of state-by-state legislation guaranteeing stringent charges and penalties against any parent unlawfully taking a child from another who is perfectly capable and loving to their child.

No parent should face uncertainty or live in fear about their child's safety, and no child should endure the pain of being forcibly removed from a capable parent. It is time to revise the system and create laws that follow and protect the most vulnerable among us. Please help us make a difference by lending your voice to this critical issue. Let us hold accountable those who break the law, and those who unlawfully interfere in custody matters, causing untold pain and disruption to both parent and child alike.

I want to push for a strict prosecution if the laws are broken and if proven to have falsely taken a child from a perfectly capable parent should be punishable to a minimum of 2 years in prison/ or parole depending on circumstances and a maximum of life in prison without chance of parole, or a max of the death penalty if allowed by state and meets qualifications for such proceedings.

I haven’t seen or been allowed to see my son for over 10 months now and that’s how the law supposedly works. My “partner” left in the middle of the night and illegally took our son from his home without telling me or anything to assume the worst happened. No charges or prosecution have been placed yet and seems to hold no solid premise which is insane to me. Florida’s law for emergency orders to demand a child’s return was laughed off by local deputies on both sides of states Florida and California. Nothing has been done yet.

I plan to push for congressman or some form of Federal congress position as a next step when the time arises. I will make this my life’s mission to ensure this does not continue to keep ruining the future working men and women of America.
