Hello friends and supporters!

I wanted to share an update with everyone about the ordinance to condemn and prohibit conversion therapy! Yesterday, I called the Clerk of Council’s office to check if they had received my email that I sent last Wednesday regarding my request for the Clerk of Council to review the ordinance to ensure it would indeed prohibit conversion therapy.

I had a brief conversation with a very kind person from their office who assured me she would inform the Clerk of Council about my inquiry and its purpose!

Well, the Clerk of Council got back to me!

She mentioned she had a meeting with council members last night to find a sponsor for the ordinance and planned to contact the Law Department to discuss it with them! How exciting!? It’s moving forward!
