Hello amazing friends and supporters!

I have a HUGE UPDATE regarding the ordinance to ban and condemn conversion therapy within Lorain!

This morning, I called Lorain's Clerk of Council to get an update on the ordinance. The call was well-received, and now I know that sometime in early January, likely by the second week of that month, we should know which committee the ordinance will be assigned to. This is a significant step in the right direction for getting this ordinance passed—it's the next necessary step!

I believe this means the committee will review the ordinance. What that entails, I am unsure of at the moment, but I know the step after that is finding a council member to sponsor the ordinance and bring it to a vote!

WE HAVE A TIMEFRAME!

Hopefully, either late January or by February, the ordinance will be brought to a vote, and we can declare victory on this small yet important step in banning and condemning conversion therapy!
