I am a dedicated Roblox user who made an account at a young age. At the time, I randomly selected my birth year, not realizing the implications this would have on my gaming experience. Over the years, I've invested significant time and money into this account, making it impossible to simply start over with a new one. Now, as someone over 13 years old, I find myself stuck in an under-13 environment due to my initial choice of birth year.

This is not just about me; there are countless other users facing similar situations. We are unable to access certain features and games due to our registered age on Roblox being incorrect. This limitation hinders our ability to fully enjoy what Roblox has to offer.

Roblox boasts over 150 million monthly active users (source: Business of Apps), many of whom may be dealing with this same issue. It's crucial that we address this problem now.

We propose that Roblox implement an age verification system for those claiming to be an above 13 years old who can provide proof of their age. This will ensure that all players can enjoy the full range of experiences offered by the platform while maintaining safety standards for younger users.
