Employers Must “Reasonably Accommodate” Religious Beliefs

The Issue

In order to give Muslim New York  city workers a day off for the Muslim holidays of Eid Ul Adha and Eid Ul Fitr, we need your help. Employees will use their own time or leave days for vacation. Most Muslim New York city workers at DSS, particularly at FIA, are prohibited from celebrating their religious holidays. The majority decide not to observe Muslim Religious Day. because the  H.R.A management refused to give them the day off for Eid al-Fitr, the Muslim holiday Regardless of their ethnicity, color, or lowly occupation, everyone should have the right to reasonable accommodations for their religious practices and beliefs.
