Give women a running emoji

Women run. Women use emojis. So why is the only ‘running’ emoji a man in jeans? Check your phone. That’s the only option. And it’s ridiculous.

Race for Life is going to make sure that the “woman running” emoji becomes a reality. How? Unicode (the people who decide on new emojis) have put the female runner up for consideration. 

They want to know if ‘woman running’ is a priority. Yes, that’s right.
So let’s tell them. With hundreds of thousands of signatures.

We need to act fast — the review closes May 1st.

Sign this petition by April 28th, and we’ll submit it to the Public Review on the issue of gender equality “Proposed Draft UTS #52, Unicode Emoji Mechanisms.” Yes, that’s a thing.
