EMERGENCY PETITION FOR CITIZENS & ALL AT THE HELM OF AFFAIRS, VOTER COMPLAINTS ON QUESTIONABLE, UNREALISTIC & UNBELIEVABLE LOW  VOTE COUNT

CANDIDATE RAJI RAB FOR CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR RAISES ALARMING CALL FOR ACTION

While my Governor’s election vote count is ongoing, I, Raji Rab, Candidate for Governor of California, duly submit this petition and invite California voters, supporters, volunteers, community leaders, Democrats, independents, and No Party Preference voters to step up and protect election integrity, transparency, accountability, verification, in view of the extraordinarily low vote totals currently being reported for my candidacy in the June 2, 2026, California Gubernatorial Primary Election. 

Immediately upon release of these Primary Election results, I received repeated complaints from voters across California calling the very low vote count flawed, questionable, unbelievable, and unacceptable, because our grassroots campaign worked with diverse community support, expected minimum 450,000 votes from Los Angeles County out of about six million votes, and minimum 2.7 million votes out of 20 million votes in CA. The June 4, 2026, election results have angered voters, who have rejected the questionable, highly unbelievable and unacceptable low vote count that currently shows approximately 522 votes (0.04%) in Los Angeles County and approximately 2,343 votes. 

Due to this voter frustration, unrest is looming across California, reacting with emotional outbursts on the reported vote count that their community votes have not been counted. These concerns are catching momentum throughout California. Among the many voter complaints, some are reproduced here. One voter from the Korean American community in Fresno County stated that having witnessed very strong voting from Asian community for Raji Rab for Governor and was shocked by the reported vote totals. "It is simply unbelievable, unacceptable, The reported vote count is defective, is not votes I witnessed throughout our community." – Jina Kim. One voter from the Sikh community in Sacramento, stated that he witnessed very strong emotional support for Raji Rab and questioned the faulty reported vote totals. "The numbers are drastically, unrealistically low compared to what I and Sikh community witnessed in fully voting for Raji Rab for Governor." – Jaswinder Singh. One voter from the Arab American and Muslim community in San Francisco, complained that the reported vote totals was flawed. "I and my community voted for Raji Rab. The vote count is faulty, unreal." – Nabil Fara. One voter from Malibu, Los Angeles County, stated that she witnessed very strong community support for Raji Rab for Governor. “I was shocked to see the drastic low vote totals, which is definitely wrong. “– Gurmit Paul

Over the past two years, beginning my declaration of candidacy on April 22, 2024, I conducted an extensive statewide grassroots campaign throughout Los Angeles County, Bay Area, Northern California, Sacramento, Central California, Southern California. I personally met people from county to county, did town halls, public forums, grassroots outreach, community meetings, faith-based outreach, radio advertising, social media engagement, direct voter contact, daily text messages to millions of registered voters every day. My message was welcomed and reached millions of voters from all walks of life grassroots support. I visited  universities spoke with students, starting from SoCal to Stanford and Berkeley. I met voters from Asian American communities, Sikh American communities, Muslim American communities, Arab American communities, students, small business owners, faith-based organizations, Democrats, independents, and No Party Preference voters actively participated in and supported our campaign throughout California. Californians from diverse backgrounds, came together supported My Now plan to fix CA’s 20 billion deficit by billions by billions in global investments, a surplus for all issues, 1.5 million jobs, tax cuts, boosting education, healthcare, welfare, housing, public safety, and space age advancements. Voters embraced my NOW Plan and overwhelmingly voted Raji Rab for Governor, and to end affordability crisis as California without raising taxes.

I am the only candidate with a Now plan to end affordability crisis, and this inaccurate low vote count will derail affordability revival and block California’s space age advancement. To all of you helping my Governor’s campaign, I stand with you in this critical situation. I’ll not rest till every vote is duly counted to protect the foundation of our constitution and our democracy, and that voice of your community is fully represented without prejudice. It is both my right and my responsibility as a candidate to demand transparency, when voters are calling the results questionable and unacceptable.  Voters are facing unrest and demand the right to confidence, to be accurately counted, properly attributed, fully reconciled, correctly reported, for safeguarding fundamental rights. Ensuring transparency in this process is essential to safeguarding fundamental rights.

LATEST UPDATE : With your fullest support, and outcry of statewide voters, I officially disputed june2, 2026 vote count and officially filed for a manual recount.  All  58 Counties were officially notified, but no press release or public announcement was made on the recount in this most significant governor's election.  Almost all 58 Counties scheduled a recount on July 16, 2026. Although I demanded a free and fair election by a free and fair manual recount verification under the Constitution,  I was presented with millions of dollars for recount charges, which seemed not for the recount but more like stopping me from the recount. Meanwhile, I understand Registrar Shasta County identified counterfeit ballots during the 1% audit and secured the ballots in lockdown with all other ballots for authentication & verification by appropriate agencies. I demanded  Secretary of State to do my first recount from Shasta County by verifying the authenticity of alleged counterfeit ballots before recount. I requested a 15-day extension so that appropriate agencies may inspect the ballots and I informed Secretary of State that  I would not go and recount alleged counterfeit ballots.  But instead of having the ballots inspected or giving me a time extension for a recount in Shasta County, I was treated with severe discrimination, obstruction of justice, and denial of a transparent recount in violation of my fundamental rights guaranteed under the Constitution. I duly notified the Secretary of State that, exhausting all efforts, I am now compelled to take the matter to Federal Court. Therefore,  call upon you, my fellow Americans;  it's time to lend a hand,  share the load. I am fighting this good fight for you, for our freedom, for our voice, for our democracy, and for our free and fair elections, because our lives and future depend on it.  I am fighting for us all, fighting for a good cause and need funding.   I appeal for  your generous contributions to help bolster my fight, our fight, for all the people & we shall prevail.
