For years and years a man by the name of Dejan Gacic has been running Vucjak Shelter, a shelter in Serbia, that cares for over 1000 abused and abandoned dogs and cats. He has been turned down numerous times by his own government for help to support these beings. His only form of income is from the donations of his supporters all around the world.
       
        Unfortunately, I fear the local government has caught wind of how much money the shelter is making and they have now recently charged and arrested Dejan with animal cruelty and are trying to take over the shelter. There’s is NO proof to these claims. I have been a supporter for 2 years now and not once have they showed any sign of negligence. They allow volunteers whenever you want and truly only care for the well-being of their animals. The police on site are currently locking only 2 workers in with the dogs, imprisoning them, have no documentation, and holding on to the keys, allowing no one else in.    

        With over 1000 animals you can only imagine the overload. These animals will soon run out of food and some are on medications. These poor souls were already abandoned before, what makes you think they’ll get help now? Being in the USA this is the best I can do to help and that’s why I am asking everyone who sees this to please sign and share wherever you can. This poor man has spent his entire life caring for these animals and is now being framed by dirty politics and corruption.
