The Issue

Dear Embark Studios and the ARC Raiders Team,

We, the undersigned—thousands of dedicated players who poured our hard-earned money into purchasing ARC Raiders—are calling on you to take urgent action against the wave of false bans that has devastated our community since the recent anti-cheat rollout.

ARC Raiders is an incredible game with innovative gameplay, stunning worlds, and endless potential. We love it—which is why we've invested not just money, but hundreds of hours grinding raids, building loadouts, and playing fair. Many of us were hit with 30-day bans (first strike under your new three-strike system) out of nowhere—often just seconds after joining a match, with no cheats, macros, or suspicious activity.

The evidence is overwhelming:
- Hundreds of reports in the official ARC Raiders Discord's "false ban investigating" thread, plus a dedicated player-run Discord for coordination.
- Reddit threads exploding with identical stories: players banned mid-raid, after hardware changes (e.g., foot pedals triggering false positives), or simply logging in.
- Even streamers like Tfue have been caught in this net, sparking widespread media coverage.
- Support tickets are met with automated denials—"ban upheld"—without explanations, leaving innocent players in limbo and risking escalation to 60-day or permanent bans.

We fully support your crackdown on cheaters—streamers like Shroud and TheBurntPeanut were right to call it out, and your three-strike system (30/60/permanent) is a step forward. But false positives are destroying the game we love. Legitimate players are quitting, refunds are spiking, and word-of-mouth is turning toxic. This isn't just unfair—it's bad for business.

We demand:
1. Mass review and reversal of all recent bans flagged as potential false positives—starting with the Discord thread cases.
2. Transparent appeals: Provide ban reasons and evidence to players upon request.
3. Fix the anti-cheat: Patch known false triggers (e.g., peripherals, EAC issues)

Embark Studios, you've built a hit game—don't let buggy anti-cheat bans kill its momentum. Listen to your paying players. Unban the innocent, refine your system, and let's get back to raiding together!
