The school dress code is outdated and does not make sense. For example. Hats are not causing any issues. They do not hurt anyone. It's the same thing with hoods on hoodies. Another example is showing stomach, sides, or back. It is not distracting to students. And if it is distracting to teachers they need to work on themselves and we should not be punished for it. We are in an environment where we a sent to learn. We are sent here by force and do not have a choice. So let us be ourselves. Let us express ourselves in ways that make us comfortable with ourselves. There are obviously things in the dress code that need to stay the same, such as drugs, sex, or foul language on clothes. But hats/hoods and clothes that show some skin is not going to hurt anyone.
