Elsie MacGill Public School condoning bullying

Elsie MacGill Public School condoning bullying
The Issue
As a concerned parent of a 13-year-old student attending Elsie MacGill Public School in Oshawa, ON, Canada, I am writing this petition to address the urgent issue of bullying. My daughter has been subjected to mental, physical and emotional bullying by three grade 8 students with the initials J.D, T.P and A. Despite numerous meetings with the school board and public school officials, no significant changes have been made.
This is not an isolated incident. Many parents whose kids also attend Elsie Macgill Public School, have shared similar stories about these students who seem to operate without fear of repercussions. It appears that even the vice principal and principal are hesitant to take action against these bullies.
Bullying in schools is a serious issue that can lead to devastating effects on victims' mental health and academic performance. According to PREVNet (Promoting Relationships & Eliminating Violence Network), Canada's authority on research and resources for bullying prevention, approximately one in three adolescent students in Canada reported being bullied recently.
We need immediate action from the Durham District School Board (DDSB) which oversees Elsie MacGill Public School. We demand that the students be expelled or be held accountable for their actions.
It's time we create a safe environment where every child can learn without fear or intimidation while attending Elsie MacGill Public School. Please sign this petition if you believe all children deserve an education free from harassment or harm.
