Many believe it is ruining the essence of our beloved sport. According to a survey conducted by YouGov in 2020, 67% of football fans feel that VAR has made watching football less enjoyable. Furthermore, a study by ESPN revealed that VAR decisions have significantly increased game stoppage time, disrupting the flow and excitement of matches. We are calling on FIFA and other governing bodies to reconsider their use of VAR in football matches worldwide.
